I was born 28 year ago in a suburb outside of Birmingham called Sutton Coldfield. I have fairly rounded parents, with my Dad taking me to see the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and my Mom taking me to see Meat loaf. Leaving home at 17, I attended a music college down in Guildford, Surrey. Afterwards I moved to Brighton to pursue music but ended up working in two pubs, one shop and a greengrocers. I left after 18 months and moved into a flat in Edgbaston, Birmingham. Taught guitar and played bad bass with a mediocre band. I enrolled onto a music degree in Bath when I was 20 years old. Half way through the degree I took a year off and lived on a small Scottish island in the Inner Hebrides. Returned to Bath and joined "The Grand Rose Band", playing lead guitar. We played London a bit, had a manager, did an album, made two videos and then split up. Recorded an album of my own songs, toured and then split up.
I reformed in the shed at the bottom of my garden.
