Curtis Cowan has music in his blood. His father played piano for Canadian country star Evan Kemp. His grandparents formed the Golden Valley Playboys who opened for Johnny Cash and George Jones.
Curtis started on a Broadway Harmony guitar when he was ten and taught himself to play the piano when he was fifteen when he began gigging with his dad's band Rambunctious. He also played with other bands including The Hornets who covered Beatles as well as other British Invasion songs. He began his life as a touring musician right after graduation. He fronted The Notables Show Band, surf band The Bowery Boys, and Frank McCormack and the Country Macs who were the house band for Vancouver's Arlington Cabaret for two years. He also performed in dinner theater productions in Saskatchewan before forming Curtis Cowan & Flyer.
Curtis has a devoted Canadian and international fan base.
