Jasmine "JMonique" Kenty is a Florida native of Bahamian decent born in Stuart Florida June 18th 1988. Jmonique started out as a young girl singing solo's for her church in Okeechobee Florida. Going through life with a long distant Father and distant Mother, JMonique was determined to make something out of herself. Raised by her grandparents, they taught her the TRUE value of life " Be yourself, and let the rest flow". As a teenager, JMonique had many insecurities because she was a "TOM BOY". She then became active by playing Basketball and Cheerleading throughout her adolescent years to High School. As a Sophomore, after living with her Father for a year in Birmingham Alabama and her Mother for 3 years in Newark New Jersey, she returned to Florida to live with her grandparents, and soon after, she birthed her only child Harmoni Randolph. JMonique then graduated High School and moved to Orlando, Florida to raise her daughter in a better community and go to College. After attending Florida Metropolitan University for 2 1/2 years, she recieved an Associate of Science in Medical Assisting. After College she returned to her roots...MUSIC!! After puting out her first mixtape " #VS " , she was deemed "Rookie of the Year" in the South East Music Confrence in 2011. Years of writing and expressing pain in relationships throughout her life...JMonique has a story to tell....if you just listen ;-)
