Based in Essex, UK, Kuru Smile are a 4-piece alternative/progressive rock band who endeavour to apply a progressive approach to song writing, whilst maintaining the ‘song’ at the heart of each composition.
Formed in December of 2005 initially as a 3-piece, set about writing and performing original music, building a fan base with their blend of song based progressive music. In early 2009, they recruited a second guitarist a move that the band felt necessary in order to bring the emotive layers and textures to an already solid and inventive sound.
