25 years in the making – LAF were originally formed in 1986 as a recording vehicle for the songs of Phil Matthews and Alastair Boden.
After a spell during which life got in the way the duo reunited at the start of 2009 on the back of renewed interest in the music from the Internet.
Initially writing and recording a four track EP titled “Sparkle” LAF was invited by jupitersmoon.co.uk to release a full length compilation of highlights to date named “Random Play All.”
Phil and Al decided that now was the time to take the music out live and with the addition of Andy Dobson on bass and stomp box and Rachel McCullough on harmonies formed a stripped down version of the band.
