Mark has been doing Open Mic performances since 2005 but only in 2011 has moved from performing covers to doing his own songs live. Some songs, like 'Gods of California', co- written by Steve Lawson from the Paul McArtney tribute band MACCA, is a multi instrument recording and difficult to play live at Open Mics !
