Hello there,
I'm an independant vocalist and lyricist. I have minor skills playing a guitar and keyboard. My goal is to further my skills with a keyboard so that I'm able to add instruments to my creations. As of yet, I've not such luck. Most people that have heard me sing place me on a level playing field with Celine Dion, Pat Benatar, and Amy Lee. I have my reservations about such things, but I decided a long time ago that other people would be the best judges of my skills.
The first performance I ever took part in was is Grade 2. I was always picked for the lead role in Christmas concerts up till I had to switch schools. There was no more music program. My Oma signed me up for a choir. I stayed with it for a short while, but the music wasn't quite to my liking - the driving conditions were likely worse. I did perform several times in front of a decent sized audience.
Recently, my only experience performing has come from singing in bars - karaoke. More often then not, the people are demanding that I sing another song or that the gal in charge of the rotation not allow me to step down. That just wouldn't be fair though.
Regardless, I've been searching for other musicians for some time now. I would like to get a project going to create some new sound.
