Pigeon Park is a Vancouver based rock n’ roll band with strokes of blues, funk, and reggae painted into their sound. The band has been together for three years, and during that time they have begun to make a name for themselves in the Vancouver music scene, recording two full length albums, and embarking on two Cross Canada tours.
With inspiration flowing from groups like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Funkadelic, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Black Crowes amongst countless others, the band has crafted a sound that you cannot really put a label on, a sound that is truly their own. Over the years Pigeon Park has continued to build a strong fan base across the country getting the opportunity to play festival shows in Vancouver and touring with big name acts in Ontario. Last summer the band recorded an album in the midst of their “Ridin To The Sun” tour.
To close out 2010, Pigeon Park released their second album “The Sun’. With the strength of this record they managed to get a distribution deal with Transubstans Records in Sweden and Obskure Somber Records in Montreal.
This past summer the band embarked on their second tour which saw them play twenty-six shows in thirty days across Ontario and Quebec. Upon return from the tour Pigeon Park finished recording their new album soon to be released…
