November 6 1993, "Tyler Thompson" Was Born In Dekalb Medical Hospital In Decatur, Ga. He Now Resides In Gwinnett County or What Some Call It "North-Atlanta" Growing Up Around Music, Tyler Wrote His First Song The Age Of 8 Entitled "Girls & Candy", LOL. He Later Faded Out The Game To Pursue A Different Path Of Life. Tyler Began To Get Into Fights, Cliques & Gangs, Smoking and Stealing. We Later Asked Him What Made Him Switch To This Lifestyle and He Replied, "Along With Music, I Grew Up Watching My Brother Do All The Things I Shouldn't Have. I Knew What I Was Doing And That It Was Wrong and Thats The Worst Part. The Summer Of 2007 His Mom Broke The News To Him That They Would Be Moving From Lawrenceville To Dacula. He Realized That It Was Time To Start Over And Started Writing Again. June 13, 2007 Tyler Thompson Moved Out Of Lawrenceville. What He Didn't Anticipate Was That His Past Was Going To Catch Back Up With Him. August 9, 2007 He Started His First Day At Dacula Middle School. He Meet With a Group Of Kids Who Called Themselves "Sycamore"(Their Name Originated From A Notorious Street Gang In Springfield, Massachusetts) Tyler Joined The Kids And Put The Music On Hold Once Again. Until, February 11, 2008 He Came Home From School Where He Got The News His Grandmother Died. He Sat In His Room Keeping His Door Lock For Two Days Not Saying Anything To Anyone. What Little Did They Know Was That He Has Come To His Senses And Has Been Writing The Whole Time. In Those Two Days He Wrote 5 Songs. That Day He Quit His So Called Thug Life And Stuck To Making Music Again. From That Day He Knew That Was What He Wanted To Do To Make His Family Proud. He Continued Writing,Recording And Going TO The Studio With His Dad And Urban City Records,His Label. He Had The Talent,Team Dedication And Support, Now All He Needed Was A Name. Each Time He Started His Career Over He Had A New Name. First YOUNG SOULJAH, Second LYRIK And Now ROCC. He Said And I Quote "I Got My Name From My Father. He Went By ROCC When He Rapped So I'm Just Continuing The Legacy." You Can Expect New Music From This Artist Along With Some Colabs. Stay Tuned And Be On The Look.
