R*U*S*T: Street Punk Rock Sydney Style. Formed half way through 2005, featuring members of some of Australia's most prominent past punk rock bands such as Crucified Venus, Crankcase , Rule 303, World War 24 and Black Rose, all fused together to make this front foot forward Rockin' Roll Rust bucket road train of a band. Rust have managed to be chosen to play with such heavy weights as Dead Kennedys, GBH, Bad Manners, The Last Resort, Peter & The Test Tube Babies, BeerZone,The Exploited, UK Subs, DOA, The Business, Sham 69, Rose Tattoo, The Varukers and The Vibrators, toured The UK and New Zealand, played the massive Rebellion festival in Blackpool. 2010 saw the band's 3rd and strongest release to date Lean Mean Street Machine hit the streets, a must have for all Punks, Skins and Rockers world wide....its a corker!! .. 2011 and the band are going from strength to strength, another successful UK tour, finished at Rebellion 2011. New album, Oi Oi Aussie Rock N' Roll live, is the band at there best… July 2012 will see the band heading to Europe for a comprehensive tour.
